The Dialogues of Delivery project
The Dialogues of Delivery project aims to create scalable, open-source language models for medical question-answering in Luganda, Runyankore-Rukiga, and Swahili, addressing the lack of high-quality, evidence-based healthcare information in regional languages. With a focus on prenatal and peripartum care, the project will build and fine-tune models for safe, accessible, and culturally resonant healthcare communication, particularly for underserved populations in Uganda.
